About your visit.
The Visit
Drop-Off
Staff will ask for your child's last name. We will find your account and check your child in. You'll let us know if they will be needing any meals that day, sign them in on our tablet, and then you're on your way!
Play & Learn
During their time at The Nook children can participate in free play, arts and crafts, science experiments, games, and more! We have activities happening all the time. Snacks are complementary and meals can be purchased. Teachers are actively engaged with children and ensuring all needs are met.
Pick Up
When it's time for your child to go, we will ask the person picking up for a family password or an ID for security. If your visit is an hourly or daily visit, your payment will be due at pick up. Sign your child out, grab their belongings and you're all set!
Each time you arrive at the Nook you'll be greeted by our staff. They will guide you through getting checked in, finding a cubby, and getting your child settled in. Whether it's your first time visiting or your 100th time, we want you and your family to feel welcome and comfortable every step of the way!
Pro Tips
-
A quick drop off is best!
Say a quick goodbye and head out the door. Our experienced staff can more easily get your child engaged in what we're doing when you are out of sight and out of mind! If for some reason your child doesn't settle in, we will give you a call.
-
Label personal items
Sometimes friends show up wearing the same shoes or jacket, or carrying the same backpack. We highly encourage you to label all items so they always find the right home at the end of the day!
-
Leave toys at home
We have tons to play with! We do not allow toys from home on the play floor so they don't get lost, broken, or stolen. If you bring a toy from home, you will be asked to leave it in your cubby. Comfort items are welcome, but once your child is settled in and playing we will put it in their cubby.
